Charles W. Rector, Jr. 

Charles Rector grew up working in the family construction and real estate development business. Starting at a young age as a construction laborer then advancing through the ranks to the position of estimator, Chuck has diverse experience in all aspects of construction. Upon graduating from Virginia Tech, Chuck became Vice President of Rector Construction Company. After the untimely death of his father, Chuck accepted the position of President in 1984 and, along with his brother, assumed ownership of Rector Construction Company. Chuck is well known in the industry for his hard work ethic and quality work.

Mr. Rector has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from Virginia Tech. He has experience with estimating, project management, business administration, business development, and all aspects of real estate development. During his tenure at Rector Construction Company, Mr. Rector along with his partner, have been responsible for constructing over $300 million worth of buildings.

Mr. Rector has constructed office buildings, schools, warehouses, banks, emergency rooms, methane cogeneration power plants, churches and hundreds of tenant interior build outs. Among these projects a few of his clients are: Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles, Prince William County, Loudoun County, City of Manassas, Federal Bureau of Investigation, United States Government GSA, Prince William County Hospital, INOVA Health Care, NationsBank, Mary Washington College, IBM, First Virginia Bank, Tokyo Electronics, LAM Research.

Mr. Rector has experience in real estate development, having been involved in the development of a 1000 acre residential subdivision, developing and managing over 100,000 square feet of office space, restaurants, and a hotel. He has also developed and leased numerous Division of Motor Vehicle Customer Service Centers throughout the State of Virginia.
